My skin treatments are holistic and non-invasive. I strive to give you clinical results in a relaxing atmosphere. I successfully treat all skin conditions including healthy skin, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne, and aging. My approach stimulates the skin’s innate immune system, rebuilds the skin, restores nutrition, revitalizes Mitochondria, and repairs DNA!
DO YOU DO CHEMICAL PEELS?
I offer an “acid-free peel,” the Osmosis Facial Infusion. My treatments dramatically improve the skin without the use of trauma-based products or procedures. Facial Infusion generates a 30-day collagen production increase and is a wonderful option used to boost/speed results. It is unique because it avoids damaging the epidermis by penetrating several high-dose active ingredients into the dermis through liposomal delivery. Facial Infusion enhances results for acne, aging, rosacea and hyperpigmentation and can be customized by adding powder blends and actives for increased correction.
DO YOU DO MICRODERMABRASION?
Yes, however we favor a gentle alternative to traditional microdermabrasion using handheld diamond files that allow us to fully control the level of exfoliation without the harmful effects of vacuum suction and crystals. In addition, I utilize ultrasonic peeling, which uses rapid vibrations to gently release impurities and dead skin cells.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A FACIAL?
Generally, monthly facials are ideal and considered "maintenance." Some clients may need to be seen more frequently to reach their skin health goals while others do well with seasonal facials. Every client varies and we will recommend appropriate follow-up care for you during your appointment. I emphasize the 80/20 rule, in that 80% of your complexion reflects your home care and lifestyle choices, and 20% reflects what we do in the treatment room. So, I focus on guiding you in the 80%, and recommend seeing me for treatments as much as possible as your schedule and budget allow in addition to that.
WILL I BREAK OUT AFTER MY FACIAL?
There are three common reasons for a post-facial breakout: Irritating products, improper extraction techniques, and stimulation. I avoid the first two but sometimes a purge is necessary remove damaged cells and impurities. This is more common with clients receiving infrequent facials, clients using products that suppress the skin's function, clients using toxic cosmetics or those new to professional-grade products. I do everything we can do gently improve your skin without pushing it too far. Breakouts are not a common occurrence with my methods and will subside with regular care.
